Recruiting Committee Members

Abronhill HA is entering a period of change. Our new Director has been recruited, as our current Director is retiring in early 2024.

We have just completed an Options Appraisal and the Association has decided that in the longer term it will be looking to join a bigger housing association in order to develop and complete a neighbourhood renewal strategy.

We are keen to attract people who have an interest in improving the lives of local tenants, residents and other customers and making sure that we are providing the best services we can. We would be delighted to hear from anyone who has a passion for wanting to know more about our local community and Abronhill Housing Association. It would be preferable for any potential Committee Member to have any skills in the following areas: - finance, general housing need, property maintenance, governance or community regeneration.

As a member of our Management Committee, you will be supported to learn new skills and gain knowledge that will be an excellent addition to your CV, maybe you are working in the housing sector or just want to know more and mix with a great group of people. We welcome people from all walks of life and encourage people who can represent currently under-represented groups in the Community. We offer travel expenses and other assistance for carers and other needs, please ask when applying what we can do.
