Advice for Tenants And Residents (AFTAR) project 

The Association has worked in partnership for a number of years with Motherwell CAB to provide all of our tenants and residents with the unique in house AFTAR  project.  The financial gains for our tenants have been nothing short of remarkable and we encourage anyone who needs advice and assistance to make an appointment with one of the fully trained, vastly experienced advisors.   

Appointments are available at the earliest opportunity and the advisor can make an appointment that best suits your needs.  To make an appointment please contact the Association in the first intance.  Your contact details will then be passed to a staff member at the AFTAR team who will contact you to discuss your query and if necessary make an appointment with the necessary specialist who can best help with your query.

In addition, if you require specialist assistance with energy advice such as help dealing with energy companies, tariffs, meter problems debt etc or help with IT issues for example help applying for jobs, completing CVs, Universal Credit Claims or similar we have two specialist advisors who can assist with these areas and appointments can be made by contacting the Association for more details.

As the advisors are not based locally and appointments are limited its a problem if people don't attend. Please note that if two appointments are missed without prior notification then any further appointments may be refused and you will be directed to the CAB office in the town centre, Cumbernauld.
